The most expensive part of this event is the cost of the competition arena. This is offered to
us from the resort owners when we achieve specific numbers of booked rooms! The way
to assure this is achieved is by using our official travel coordinator for all of your travel

You might be able to get a better price if you don’t use our official travel coordinator, this
is a possibility. However, we must have the minimum 450 room nights to achieve our
discounts! This is the only way to avoid each participant having to pay an additional $100.
Please, try to save money by checking for early booking air fares, redeeming frequent flyer
points and other promotions. Our travel coordinator will provide the best overall deals and

Citizenship Requirement…
Everyone must have a valid passport for this event. Please check your passport expiration
date as it must be valid up to 9 months after your schedule return. For this event, it should
be valid until September 30, 2011. Those who are traveling with children, age 17 & under,
and not with both parents, you must have a notarized letter from the absent parent or
guardian, stating that, the child/children have permission to travel outside of the USA.

• Competitors – after securing your travel arrangements, please visit the World

• You may arrange your own transportation and transfers to the Bahia Principe San
Juan, Dominican Republic however; you must book the land portion with All-Star
Cruises & Travel.
• Your Room is not reserved until after you make your deposit.
• To guarantee the posted prices, deposit must be made before August 30, 2010. We
can add people after that date, but the prices may be higher.
• Final payment dates are different per country of origin…please see pricing pages
for your payment schedule.
• Travel Insurance is highly recommended – a brochure will be included with your
confirmation.
• We have arranged discounted pricing for “off-resort” excursions. Another page will
be added to book these excursions.
• A detailed daily schedule will be available at the information desk on Friday,
January 21st from 12:00N-5:00PM. The information desk will be located in the

About Our Travel Coordinator…
Dan has been a full-time, fully accredited travel agent for 18 years. He hosts many
themed-based travel events on a yearly basis and is very comfortable working with any
size groups. Dan has been the guest speaker for Globus Tours and for the past seven years
has been a regular on ABC…affectionately known as, “Dan, The Travel Man”. In fact,
beginning this fall, Dan’s television program will begin airing nationwide.

Catamaran
Your sailing trip will take you from Playa Dorada, along the coast to Sosua. In the background, typical Dominican and International music, drinks and fruits at your disposal - let the impressive panorama glide past you.
The anchor will be set in the calm Bay of Sosua for the rest of the day, near a beautiful natural coral reef. All inspired snorkelers and those who use it for the first time are handed over a full equipment to jump over board and enjoy a close up of the tropical underwater world. The paradise island, also called "Cayo Arena" consists of approximately 200 square meters of sand and is situated in the middle of the ocean. Humpback Whales
Thousands of grown up, protected Humpback whales (up to 12 m long and 30 tons heavy) move from the North Atlantic to the warm Caribbean waters, near the northern coast of Dominican Republic where they reproduce.
Do not miss this opportunity to participate in such a natural and impressive event ! Observe from a short distance the behavior of these giants within their natural surrounding.
Some information about Humpback Whales:
- When the whales dive to make a "hump", which is a characteristic that distinguishes them from other whales and the reason for their name.
- The whales are used to "sing" in their feeding areas in cold waters.
- When swimming underwater, whales are able to see up to 150 meters.
- Their preferred food is small crustaceans.
- When whales migrate, they are on a diet. It is estimated that during this time they loose several tons of weight.
- They give birth after a wearing period of approximately 12 months and the baby is already about 13 feet long and weighs about 1 ton.
- The mother squirts daily between 400 and 500 liters of fat-rich milk it the calfs mouth.

Jarabacoa

Santiago Insiders
This excursion initiates by crossing the north coast mountain chain and brings you on the other side to the capital of tobacco, "Santiago de los Caballeros" (founded 1508), being the oldest "Santiago" of the Americas. After the visit of a typical tobacco manufacture, you will walk by a very lively central park, where you can observe the local way of life.
On the native market you will be astonished by the large variety of exotic merchandise and learn many interesting details. High over the roofs of the city, your lunch awaits you in a restaurant, which "The Rich and Famous" frequent a lot. In the afternoon, you will be able to learn about a pottery manufacture of the zone and visit on a hill nearby "Santo Cerro", the pilgrim church of the Saint Mercedes.

In 1990, the historic, old part of Santo Domingo, situated on the western side of the "Rio Ozama" was named by UNESCO a World Cultural Heritage. Come and explore Dominican History with Columbus! Appreciate and visit some of the monuments built by and for him, such as the "Faro a Colon" or the Cathedral.
