For more than 17 years I have owned and operated All-Star Cruises & Travel, Inc. I
have been a regular guest on our local ABC network for seven years sharing my
travel expertise and teaching the public how to get the most from their travels. Being
a guest host has proven to be a great success and has opened the door to a number
of other possibilities that continue to grow my business. Due to the tremendous
success of the television exposure, I was approached this past fall to take the
segments nationwide which will begin airing in May 2010.
Although our primary focus is leisure travel, we also specialize in business travel
centering on several of Michigan's largest accounts with an emphasis on hospital
accounts. Thus far, All-Star Cruises & Travel, Inc. averages 4 to 9 million dollars per
year in gross sales and is continuing to grow.
With that being said, I am looking to create a host agency to further expand my
company. A host agency is a bonded, accredited ARC/IATAN agency through which
home-based agents make bookings. A host agency and home-based travel agent
combine forces to compliment one another in building higher revenues. As an
example, a home-based agent will typically make 10% commission on a booking
when it is made on their own. When the agent books through a host agency,
commission on the same reservation jumps to approximately 17% because of the
higher volume of the larger conglomerate group.
Having spent four months at the corporate offices of a host agency in Florida, I
learned a great deal about the internal workings of a host agency, its business
practices, and how they operate on a day-to-day basis.
Presently, I have 51 home-based agents booking through my office. My goal is to
have 300 home-based agents by the forth quarter of 2010. I have found an
overwhelming show of support from all of my local area vendor representatives.
Encouragement from my reps is due to the fact that there is not a single host agency
in existence throughout the entire state of Michigan. Being the first host agency in
the state will give All-Star Cruises & Travel, Inc. greater recognition in the travel
industry.
My goal is to reach $2,200,000 to launch the host agency. I am asking for you to
provide financial support in an amount you feel comfortable investing. Your
investment will be repaid in monthly installments over a 10 year term with 8%
interest. Not only will my corporation guarantee the loan, I will personally sign as
well. In addition to 8% interest, I will provide you with as many deeply discounted
travel incentives as possible.
